Meet Our Founder

The beginning of this journey traces back to a moment shared with my eight-year-old son, Conor. During a lunchtime, he was hesitant to eat, his focus on a group of kids, particularly a three-year-old, who were weaving their way through heavy traffic near Opeibia House in scorching Accra, Ghana, begging for money. The safety of this toddler left Conor distressed, and this powerful scene has since left an indelible impression on me. Consequently, the past few years have been dedicated to exploring diverse ways of addressing this issue.

The plight of street children in our midst is dire, and as a society, we owe it to them to make a meaningful contribution towards alleviating their burdens. Poverty, disease, and the breakdown of family structures, particularly in the third world, continue to exacerbate their situation.

Project Ascend Africa is committed to making a difference, albeit taking baby steps initially through our monthly nutrition program. Subsequently, we plan to implement various initiatives focused on healthcare and education for underprivileged street kids. Our mission is to provide these children with the love, nurturing, and support they need and deserve. We implore you to join us on this journey towards making a positive impact on the lives of these vulnerable children.
